If my job was like one of my favorite shows
Kovacs on the Corner, I could take a walk
outside right now and probably bump
right into a regular character.
There’s this odd fellow who always
seems to be around somewhere, waiting,
like that big dog with the cigar
Ernie Kovacs keeps noticing.
However, it’s not the same.
I ought to be careful,
for as J.Genius is quick to warn me,
becoming Marlin Perkins on grainy television:
"You might not guess it by the look of him,
but this little critter can unleash the Devil's fury when at bay..."
